MILOŠ has become one of the world’s most celebrated classical guitarists, beginning with a meteoric rise in 2011 after the release of his hugely popular debut album “Mediterraneo.” Since then, MILOŠ has earned legions of fans around the world through his extensive touring, television appearances and best-selling recordings that reflect his broad range of interests, from Baroque to the Beatles.
Born in Montenegro, MILOŠ first started playing guitar at eight. By his teens, with the Balkan nations in conflict and their citizens isolated from the rest of Europe, a 17-year-old MILOŠ sent a homemade videotape to the Royal Academy of Music in London, who accepted him on scholarship. He has lived in London ever since, while keeping close ties with his family and homeland.
MILOŠ has an intuitive sense of how to bring the guitar across to the public – whether for an audience of 4000 in the Royal Albert Hall, or an intimate chamber music performance for 40. He can be found performing in major concert halls as often as non-traditional venues like New York’s Le Poisson Rouge, or London’s Camden Roundhouse. MILOŠ’ musical interests range far and wide, with a special fondness for the Fab Four. He recorded “Blackbird – The Beatles Album” in 2016 in the same famous Abbey Road Studios.
MILOŠ has performed with many of the world’s great orchestras – those in London, Rome, Tokyo, Cleveland, Chicago, Philadelphia, Madrid and more – and his recital tours will take him to Australia, Europe, and the U.S. and Canada in the near future.
His Schubert Club debut recital, called “The Arts and the Hours”, will feature music by J.S. Bach, Handel, Rameau, Scarlatti and others.
