Schubert Club, House of Hope Presbyterian Church  and Hope Arts Center are thrilled to partner for a weekend with world-renowned soprano Renée Fleming, September 19-21 of 2025.  Renée’s residency will consist of a recital on Friday September 19 at the Ordway Concert Hall, a master class and gala on Saturday September 20 at House of Hope, and will conclude with a panel discussion at House of Hope centered on her new anthology Music and Mind.



Renée Fleming is one of the most acclaimed singers of our time, performing on the stages of the world’s greatest opera houses and concert halls. Honored with five GRAMMY® awards and the US National Medal of Arts, she has sung for momentous occasions from the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony to the Super Bowl. In 2023, the World Health Organization appointed her as a Goodwill Ambassador for Arts and Health.

Renée’s anthology, Music and Mind: Harnessing the Arts for Health and Wellness, was published in 2024. A leading advocate for research at the intersection of arts and health, created her own program called Music and the Mind, which she has presented in more than 70 cities around the world. She is now an advisor for major initiatives in this field. She recently starred at the Metropolitan Opera in the world premiere staging of The Hours, a new opera based on the award-winning novel and film,

Other awards include the Fulbright Lifetime Achievement Medal, Germany’s Cross of the Order of Merit, and honorary doctorates from 10 major universities.
