First Thursday in November

Thursday, November 1, 4:00PM

Schubert Club Music Museum

The Schubert Club Museum is open late on the First Thursday of each month from 4-8 pm! This is a great opportunity for the community to experience our engaging collection of historical music and replicas, original autographed letters from notable composers and other music-themed exhibits of historic and cultural interest outside of the regular daytime hours.

Free to the public, visitors can enjoy guided tours, live demonstrations, fun interactive music-making, and complimentary wine (for guests 21+) and refreshments. Every month is a unique experience with different activities hosted by Schubert Club, such as special guest(s) and demonstrations, live music, and trivia contests with opportunities to win tickets for Schubert Club performances.

If your daytime plans don’t allow you to visit the Schubert Club Museum, this is an awesome way to spend an evening learning, exploring, and socializing with others!

First Thursday Schedule of Activities for November

Join Chad McAnally, musician and early keyboard restorer and builder, as he demonstrates Schubert Club’s rare 1780 Pennsylvania clavichord. This instrument is one of only three American-made clavichords known, and it is being restored for future exhibit in the galleries! Also, experience Chad’s technical work in action as he repairs the bridge and soundboard on one of Schubert Club’s clavichord replicas.
