Family Concert: Copper Street Brass (Sensory-Friendly)

Tools of the Trade: Building Music with BRASS!

Playing music is something many people do as a job. Just like a builder builds houses for their job, musicians use tools (instruments) and materials (the building blocks of music) just like a builder to do the job of building songs! Join Copper Street Brass and meet each brass instrument, learn its name and job, and hear how it is used as a tool to build songs using musical building blocks like melody, harmony, and rhythm. Bring the whole family and get ready to move your body and sing along to your favorite songs with Copper Street Brass!

Program

Family Concerts are hosted by Twin Cities vocalist and music educator, Kathy Lee!

About Family Concerts

Schubert Club Family Concerts feature nationally and locally celebrated performing artists in programs of folk, ethnic and classical music. Storytelling, dance and audience participation add to this vibrant array of concerts, created for children of all ages and their families. Concerts labeled as “Sensory-Friendly” are inclusive, interactive concerts designed for all ages. These events allow audience members to enjoy an enriching concert experience with additional sensory-friendly accommodations such as slightly dimmed lighting, flexible seating, and sensory objects.
