International Artist Series FAQ

How early should I arrive?

The Ordway lobby hour before the performance, and the hall opens for seating 30 minutes before the performance. If you are picking up your tickets at Will Call, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early.

What if I misplace my tickets?

Don’t worry! Lost tickets can be replaced free of charge in person at the Box Office, or by calling our Ticket Office at 651.292.3268. If you need your tickets re-printed at the Box Office, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early.

Where is the best place to park for International Artist Series concerts?

There are numerous parking ramps within easy walking distance of the Ordway. The closest ramps are Lawson Ramp, Kellogg Underground Ramp, RiverCentre Ramp, Landmark Towers, Lowry Ramp, Treasure Island Ramp, and Victory Ramp. There is also very limited metered street parking available near the Ordway. Visit the Ordway’s Directions & Parking page for more detailed information.

Are there accessible entrances and seating?

The main entrance on Washington Street is wheelchair accessible and a cut-out area is available for pickup and drop off. Accessible parking near the Ordway is limited, but parking meters in the area are free for up to 4 hours for vehicles with a visible validation.

Once inside the building, the Ordway Music Theater elevators operate between the orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony levels on the northwest side of the lobby. Ordway Concert Hall elevators operate on the main floor, tier 1 and tier 2 levels, and the lower level on the northeast side of the lobby. The Travelers Artist Entrance on 5th Street, on the north side of the building, has an inclined entrance.

How long do International Artist Series concerts typically last?

Typically, concerts run about two hours. We will always do our best to communicate the length of the program to audience members, but there may also be encores or unforseen delays. If you have specific questions about concert length, please call our Ticket Office at 651.292.3268

Are children allowed at the International Artist Series?

Yes, we offer free tickets for children ages 6-17! Please keep in mind that these concerts typically run around two hours, and are either solo performers or small ensembles. Any child age 6-17, is allowed to attend, but we also ask that parents and chaperones use their best judgement to determine whether or not a specific concert is appropriate for their family or group.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code for International Artist Series performances! Some people enjoy dressing up for a night out, and others prefer to be casual in jeans or sweatshirts. Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable!

When will I receive my tickets?

Season ticket holders will receive their tickets by mail in early September. Individual ticket orders will be mailed out within 2-3 business days. Digital or print-at-home tickets will be sent to your email within a few minutes of purchase.

I’m not able to use my tickets – what should I do?

If you are unable to use your tickets, you may exchange them directly into another concert, bank them to your Schubert Club account and use the value towards another concert in the current season or towards your renewal for next season, or turn back your tickets for a tax-deductible charitable contribution. Ordway Music Theater

Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes has been called “one of the most gifted musicians of his generation” by the Wall Street Journal and “a pianist of magisterial elegance, power, and insight,” by the New York Times. His International Artist Series recital in March 2025 will mark his fourth appearance with Schubert Club, and his first since 2011.
