Special Ticket Policies for the 2020-2021 Season

Like you, we are unsure what the coming months will look like, and whether the 2020-2021 season will be able to move ahead as it normally would.  In light of this uncertainty, we have made some important changes to our ticket policies for the coming season.

Whether concerts are able to go ahead or not, we will offer all ticket holders their choice of the following options during the 2020-21 season:

  • Attend the concert.
  • Request a refund for your ticket (No less than 2 hours before the performance)
  • Turn back your ticket as a charitable donation to Schubert Club (No less than 2 hours before the performance)
  • Bank the value of your ticket, to be applied either to a concert later in the 2020-21 season or towards the 2021-22 season (No less than 2 hours before the performance), subject to availability.
    • If you choose to bank your tickets, the banked value must be redeemed at least 24 hours prior to the concert you wish to attend.
    • Unused banked value will expire at the end of the 2021-22 season.

In the event of a cancelled performance, tickets will be automatically banked unless the ticket holder requests a refund or turnback.

These policy changes have been made as a special exception and will apply only through the 2020-2021 season.

Tickets to Schubert Club performances can be purchased by phone at 651.292.3268 between 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday or online anytime.

The ticket office at the concert location is open one hour prior to each performance to deal with ticketing matters related to that concert.

All ticket sales are final with no refunds or price adjustments.

Misplaced Tickets
Lost tickets may be replaced free of charge by calling the Ticket Office at 651.292.3268. Please be prepared to show a photo I.D. when picking up tickets. Once replacement tickets have been issued, the original tickets are no longer valid.

Tickets may be exchanged for another performance, pending availability. Exchanges must be completed at least one full business day prior to the date of the originally scheduled performance. Exchanges are subject to availability and a $5 per ticket exchange fee. This fee is waived for Schubert Club Subscribers. Tickets may be exchanged on a one ticket for one ticket basis regardless of the ticket price. You may only exchange one concert’s worth of tickets into an alternate performance. (Example: If you can’t attend concert A & B, you can not exchange both sets of concerts into concert C to have triple the number of tickets for that performance.)  If exchanging into a more expensive performance or different price range, the patron is responsible for the difference in ticket price. There is no refund if exchanging into a less expensive performance, but the difference in value will be acknowledged as a tax-deductible donation to The Schubert Club. To complete an exchange please call the Box Office at 651-292-3268 Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30.

Turned Back Tickets
If you know you are unable to attend a performance for which you hold tickets, please notify our ticket office as soon as possible. Our concerts are always very well sold, and turning back your tickets allows another music-lover to attend. Turnbacks must be received at least one hour prior to the performance to receive credit for the donation. We will send you a contribution acknowledgment for the full value of the tickets following the performance. This value is fully tax-deductible, as allowed by law. The contribution acknowledgement will be sent to the name and address of the ticket holding patron. Parking vouchers are not able to be turned back. View more details about turning back tickets here.

Missed Performances
Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds or exchanges for missed performances.

Student Rush Tickets
Rush tickets may be available 30 minutes prior to curtain and are limited to high school students and college students. School identification cards are required. Two tickets per valid I.D. Tickets are subject to availability and seating will be determined by the ticket office associate. View more details about our discounts for students here

Group Discounts
We offer a 15% discount to groups over 10, subject to availability. Please call Schubert Club Ticket Office to purchase tickets for your group at 651.292.3268.

Fees may be included in your purchase to cover ticket processing. For performances at the Ordway, a fee may be added to preserve the integrity of the hall. All fees are waived for Schubert Club subscribers.

Patrons with Disabilities
When ordering tickets, please notify the Ticket Office of any special accommodations you may need. Ushers will help you obtain large print programs as well as assisted listening devices (when available). Braille programs will be made available with advance notice.

Children over the age of six are welcome to enjoy Schubert Club concerts. Family Concerts are appropriate for children of any age. Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Schubert Club values its loyal subscribers and offers many great benefits, which can be viewed here.

Renewing Subscribers
When renewing your subscription, orders are processed in the order received. If you wish to request a change to your seats, we encourage you to send in your renewal as soon as possible. We try our best to accommodate as many changes as possible, but if you are requesting changes in a highly subscribed area of the venue, we may not be able to fill your change request.

Subscription seats may not be passed on from one patron to another, unless the transfer is to an immediate family member.

New Subscribers
If you are a new subscriber, your credit card will be charged immediately, but seating will not be determined until after all renewing subscribers have been seated. Because of this, we are unable to provide real-time seating information. Seating is general admission for Accordo, Mix, and Family Concerts.

Student Subscriptions
Student subscriptions to the International Artist Series & Music in the Park Series are $55 (while subscriptions are on sale only). One seat per student I.D., student must prove enrollment in K-12 or college program with valid student I.D. or tuition statement.
