Challenging and honoring young musicians since 1923
The Schubert Club Student Scholarship Competition, held each spring, awards approximately $50,000 annually to young musicians. Two cash prizes in each age and instrument category are awarded – $2000 and $1500 – to be used for further musical education. The Competition is named in memory of Bruce P. Carlson, executive director of The Schubert Club from 1968 to 2006.
Competition winners will enjoy the exciting opportunity to perform on the Ordway Concert Hall stage!
