Virtual KidsJam: Storytelling Through Music with Mill City String Quartet

The first two KIDSJam workshops this season are virtual, presented to you in two segments:
1) 10-minute CREATE sessions with steps to make an instrument to play during the program (instrument packages available online for $5 by emailing [email protected])
2) 25-minute interactive program to learn about the people, cultures, and sounds behind the music
About the Program
LEARN how the instruments in a string quartet come together to tell stories through music. LISTEN to string quartet music written by Black women composers, and the stories they tell. CREATE your own string instrument and use it to PLAY along with the Mill City String Quartet, or to tell your own stories through music!
