The first two KIDSJam workshops this season are virtual, presented to you in two segments:
1) 10-minute CREATE sessions with steps to make an instrument to play during the program (instrument packages available online for $5 by emailing [email protected])
2) 25-minute interactive program to learn about the people, cultures, and sounds behind the music
About the Program
LISTEN to and PLAY Bomba and Plena traditional Afro-Puerto Rican music with Maria Isa & the Drums. CREATE maracas and a hand drum to LEARN the basic rhythms of this style of music.
