Mahler Chamber Orchestra – In Virtual Reality
From 12 PM to 7:30 PM, sign up for a 45-minute VR experience. Put on a VR headset (provided) and be transported to a fully immersive world of music. Move around and through the virtual orchestra as a multi-dimensional recording responds in real-time.

With the aid of VR headsets, audiences will be transported to a fully immersive world of music in which they can move around and through the virtual orchestra as a multi-dimensional recording responds in real-time. Participants will be able to hear and feel what it is like to sit in the middle of an ensemble, and hear the sound emanating from each distinct instrument, opening up striking new possibilities for interaction between listener, performer, instrument and sound.
This is a timed-entry event, with slots beginning every 30 minutes from 12 pm until 7:30 pm.
