Family Concert: The Scandinavian Trio

This series features nationally and locally celebrated performing artists in programs of folk, ethnic and classical music. Storytelling, dance and audience participation add to this vibrant array of concerts, created for children of all ages and their families. This year’s theme, “With Strings Attached” features three different concerts with a variety of stringed instruments including harp, guitar, dulcimer, nickelharp, fiddle, violin, viola and cello. Concerts take place at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in the St. Anthony Park neighborhood of St. Paul.

Scandinavian music and song fill the air when three of Minnesota’s favorite folk musicians perform a delightful program blending traditional and fun music, dances, games and stories for all ages.
