Family Concert: Daedalus String Quartet

This series features nationally and locally celebrated performing artists in programs of folk, ethnic and classical music. Storytelling, dance and audience participation add to this vibrant array of concerts, created for children of all ages and their families. This year’s theme, “With Strings Attached” features three different concerts with a variety of stringed instruments including harp, guitar, dulcimer, nickelharp, fiddle, violin, viola and cello. Concerts take place at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in the St. Anthony Park neighborhood of St. Paul.

Daedalus String Quartet
Featuring: Min-Young Kim & Matilda Kaul, violins, Jessica Thompson, viola; Thomas Kraines, cello
One of our country’s leading string quartets tells stories through music, from works about cats and dogs, to music about Hansel and Gretel by young American composers, to string quartets by some of the world’s great composers like Haydn and Dvorak.
The 6pm performance of this family concert is SOLD OUT. 7:15pm concert still available.
