Ladyslipper Ensemble was born when a group of friends, who share a passion for the same repertoire, came together to make music. We are dedicated to uncovering forgotten works and bringing more live chamber music to the community. Our goal is to revive the tradition of “Salon” concerts, popular in 19th century Europe, performing in intimate spaces. Our mission is to introduce audiences to rarely heard works, whose soulful themes and melodies are accessible and appealing. We are committed to education in public schools and libraries. By offering innovative repertoire and engaging music lovers in discussions, Ladyslipper Ensemble presents programs that are friendly, in a setting that challenges the listener to explore the unfamiliar, thereby creating a deeper appreciation for chamber music.
