“Composer anniversaries appear in various lists with overwhelming regularity, but Beethoven’s 250th birthday in 2020 is an anniversary not to be overlooked. I couldn’t imagine a more thrilling ensemble to explore Beethoven’s complete quartet cycle than the Danish String Quartet. I hope others will join me in treating this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dig deep into an important part of Beethoven’s musical legacy.” – Barry Kempton, Artist and Executive Director
