On Friday, September 19, Renée will perform a recital inspired by her Grammy Award-winning 2023 album Voice of Nature: the Anthropocene. This breathtaking program explores mankind’s evolving relationship with nature through performances of music by Handel, Nico Muhly, Björk and more —all set against a backdrop of stunning film from the National Geographic Society.

Renée will also hold a voice master class with singers from Minnesota Opera’s Resident Artist Program on Saturday, September 20 at House of Hope Presbyterian Church. The master class will be open to the public as a ticketed event. Following the master class, House of Hope will hold a private gala event with Ms.Fleming as their special guest in celebration of the launch of Hope Arts Center, the church’s new nonprofit entity with a mission to build community and enrich lives through music, wellness, and justice initiatives.

The weekend will conclude on Sunday, September 21 with a lecture and discussion at House of Hope as part of the church’s Sunday Series. The lecture will be centered around Renée’s new anthology Music and Mind: Harnessing the Arts for Health and Wellness. Renée will be joined by  Dr Michael Georgieff, co-director of the  Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain and other panelists to explore the profound impact of music and the arts on the human mind.
