MarkBilyeuHeadShot1smallMark Bilyeu has served as music director with Chicago Opera Vanguard, Chicago Folks Operetta, and ensemble113. With recitalist partner Clara Osowski, he was the only American pianist selected to study at the Académie Francis Poulenc in 2013. He has participated in the Aspen Summer Music Festival, Vancouver Song Institute, and Musique sur mer en Acadie. He holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts degree from Chicago College of Performing Arts. After graduation he studied with Chicago Symphony pianist Mary Sauer. Bilyeu recently completed a Master’s degree in Vocal Coaching & Accompanying from the University of Minnesota. He is the Artistic Director of Source, a new song festival in Minnesota.

Scott Lykins HeadshotScott Lykins is founding Artistic and Executive Director of the Lakes Area Music Festival in Brainerd. He recently made his European debut at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris. He has served as principal cellist for the National Orchestra Institute, National Repertory Orchestras, Classical Symphony of Chicago and Eastman Philharmonic Orchestra, and has played regularly with the Syracuse, South Dakota, and New World Symphonies. Recent concerto appearances include the Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra, Heartland Symphony, and Northeast Orchestra. Scott received his bachelors and masters degrees in cello performance from the Eastman School of Music.

Chelsea Morris HeadshotChelsea Morris’s operatic repertoire includes Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro and Emily Webb in Our Town. She has appeared as soloist with The Madison Bach Musicians, Chicago Bach Ensemble, and Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra. A winner of numerous competition prizes, the Michigan native has been championed by The Schubert Club, National Opera Association, and Bel Canto Foundation of Chicago.


Clara Osowski HeadshotClara Osowski’s opera credits include Ruth in Pirates of Penzance, Zita in Gianni Schicchi, and Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte. Clara has premiered numerous works at the Center for New Music at the University of Iowa. Clara received her Bachelor of Musical Arts degree from North Dakota State University, and Master of Arts Degree in Voice from the University of Iowa. This spring she is featured with a variety of ensembles in the Twin Cities, including the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers, Consortium Carissimi, and Silver Swan. Clara is an Adjunct Faculty of Voice at the University of Minnesota-Morris.
